Desk Space

...is a brand new blog that looks at the places where writers write. My workspace is featured today. I'm delighted to be part of this. I look forward to seeing other spaces in the days to come. While I expect them to be very different from one another, I will be looking for similarities. I did notice right away that my desk space and Evie's both have a cat to the left of the monitor. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for cats on Desk Space from here on. Of course I'll be checking out the books in the pics. And scoping for ideas that might make my space even better.

Very nice, B. Though I would have liked to see you include your sun room as a work-space. Mostly because I still covet that room...

Thanks, A! I feel very lucky that so much of the house is dedicated workspace. The sun room, however, is more of a flap-my-gums space. A sunny fill-my-face space.

I like how clean it is, as compared to mine! And bright, as compared to mine! And nice, as compared to mine!

Oh please! You have a great space! The energy is right. You face the right direction. It's perfect.

Nice space! and a neat idea for a blog. So revealing isn't it? I'm thinking about what mine says right now - the lotto ticket hanging desperately out of my daytimer, all the sticky notes, piles of books, manuscript proofs, huge cup of coffee...etc.

Thanks! Yes, it is a neat idea.

Ha! It sounds like your August is going at a hectic pace, much faster than mine. I've been having intense spurts though. Had one yesterday. I love how a solution will suddenly present itself. And it's often nothing like the thing you thought it might be.

It's so neat! Not that that's any surprise - I'm just envious since I'm trying to clean up my space (and my basement). I have too much of everything ... except space.

I see what you mean about the Penguin - kind of creepy.

Ya, things sure pile up. I'm curious to know what you have too much of. I can just imagine... :)

Ya, that Penguin grows creepier by the day. I think its ability to confound the camera might be one of the 412 different ways it can kill me. It's trying to creep me to death. I think it's working.
