Ya, they're amazing little critters. Lots of them around this year.

You need an mp3 of JT's Muscrat Rat Love to go with the shots. Get H on that in his spare time now the studio is finished and the cactus has a home.

Happen to see any culverts on yer travels? I'm getting pretty lonesome for a good culvert pic.

ha! I'll pass that on to him, Keith. Actually H shot some muskrat video that's just calling for a sonnet, but so far the sonnet is more like a limerick, an ongoing problem of mine.

I saw lots of culverts, Ariel, lots. And I have lots of plans. I still have culverts from back in July that I haven't posted. Argh.

Since JULY!?! What, are you trying to kill me?

I know I know. But I've been finishing up one book and working on another and yet another and then there was all that reno business, so my poor culvert blog has been neglected.

They're cute little critters, but really not so different looking from rat-rats, don't you think? And yet, a rat-rat would have me run the other way in horror.

Ha! I did wonder, albeit briefly, if people would be repulsed by these little guys. Ya, I don't know if I could spend so much time watching a rat-rat either. I imagine we're programmed to run the other way.

Thank you!

I forgot to mention in the post that some of these pics were taken by H and some by me.
