A northern monologue
Each year, from Grades 9 to 12, we had to memorize at least one poem. The Highway Man comes riding, riding, ridingThe Highway Man comes riding up to the old inn door will never leave my brain.
Cool. I can't remember if we had to memorize anything. :) While I have no trouble remembering things for exams, I really have to work at memorizing poems. That means re-reading them more than occasionally. H, on the other hand, can recite poems from childhood as well as poems that I studied for courses. Mind you, he's a walking telephone directory and GPS as well, so it comes as no surprise. Everything sticks in his head. Mine must have a teflon coating...
LOL! Be careful with that teflon. There are health hazards associated with it, particularly if scratched!
Well that explains everything.
