A flash of yellow

...caught my eye earlier, but I didn't turn my head quickly enough to get a good look. I was working at my desk at the time. Sure enough, an hour later I looked out again and saw these two Northern Flickers by the rock wall. 

It's the only place in the yard that isn't covered with snow. We got a few more inches overnight on top of the big dump the day before. A large flock of robins just stopped by as well. They didn't look too happy.

I have the same talent with squirrels. :))
