Another great pile of books

...to show off. I have no shortage of reading to do this summer.

Foodshed: An Edible Alberta Alphabet by dee Hobsbawn-Smith.

Empire of the Beetle: How Human Folly and a Tiny Bug Are Killing North America's Great Forests by Andrew Nikiforuk.

Arctic Ordeal: The Journal of John Richardson Surgeon-Naturalist with Franklin, 1820-1822 edited by C. Stuart Houston.

The World According to Monsanto: Pollution, Corruption, and the Control of Our Food Supply by Marie-Monique Robin.

Tropic of Chaos: Climate Change and the New Geography of Violence by Christian Parenti.

H, who is a big reader as well, ordered and read the Nikiforuk, Robin, and Parenti books during the winter and recommends them highly. We just got the other two books on our last trip out of town and haven`t read them yet, but they look dandy as well.

And check out my rhubarb! It`s really coming along.
