if I haven't thrown it out I'll send it to you... she makes some interesting comments on the state of literary criticism and academia in general... somehow, the Wente interview with her came to mind when I browsed this link...
I hope we haven't used the copy of it as firestarter - we've had the woodstove on twice this week already - very early this year
oh dear, recycled (how west coast is that??!)... there was a bit of a Paglia redux in the National Pest (Post) this weekend, but not as indepth... still, knowing CP as I have through reading her over the years, I'm sure one could just google her and find her same opinions in another of the thousand and one interviews she gives...
nope, just met him and had dinner with him at Banff, well he sat at our table and spoke to Michael Winter while we ate and that's about it if I can remember correctly, but it's all a bit of a blur... then again met him in Vancouver I think... I've heard him read some of his GG book - can't remember the name, the one with all the vowels!! interesting, curious, a novel idea...
I guess I was asking you what you thought of the posting...
Ah, Eunoia. I met him and heard him perform a piece in Saskatoon a number of years back. Totally enjoyed it.
And I guess I was sidestepping... :) I'm full of opinions in person, especially after a couple cups of coffee, so when we meet again I'll happily let loose.

did you read Camille Paglia in last weekend's G & M vis-a-vis academia?
interesting
Darn, I missed it. I just checked for it, but I have to pay to see it now. Bah. It's been one of those weeks...

Thanks! I'd love to read it.
Ah, a chilly fall there as well. I'm hoping for a warm October.

what did you think of Mr. Book's writings?
No trouble. You're right, I'm sure a quick google would do.
I don't know Bök's work well enough to offer a rounded opinion. You?
