A northern monologue
First: how many espresso did you have by the 3rd video?Second: I notice that by the 3rd video you've grown a horn. Third: Fabulous.
Thanks! Ok, so I had a few cups of coffee today...Ya, a horrible horn developed while I was pulling my hair out. I was hoping no one would notice. But ya, it looks like I have a muskrat stuck to my head.
You know, most people use their videocameras to make amateur porn...
I was just trying to make a wry comment on your (and H's) devotion to the video camera these days...Just goes to show you that you should never attempt to be funny before 9 am.
Wow, a polyphonic meta-post! How post-modern.
Ariel, I still can't believe my eyes. You used the p-word on my blog! Good grief. And I don't even want to know where that came from... But ya, we've been having fun. These videos are tests as well. Different settings. The compression of the last one seems to have affected the sound a bit. Or maybe it was the coffee. Speaking of devotion, have you seen H's latest spider photos? They're stunning.Ha! I dunno, Zach. I think it's more past-muddle.
So we just checked the original video. I can't blame the compression. It was me. Ugh. Clearly I need to speak more clearly.
Hello! Brenda, you are a fabulous way to start my day. You're a star, baby! Also, it looks like we have the same coffee mug. I'm going to refill mine now...
Ha! Thanks, Anita! Ya, that cup holds a lot of coffee, yet never quite enough...
Try all three at the same time !! You always did babble a lot !
Ha! Thanks, Mom! :)
I look forward to reading those Fabulous Writers (particularly Lorri who I stumbled across in Sask a couple weeks back). My book exists, Bren! Not sure if you reordered it, but I'm told by TSPress that it is out and about.
for whatever reason, my ID says "Kim." I'll fix that. It's Kimmy in case you know any other Kims.
Hey Kimmy! I'm in Saskatoon at the moment. I'm heading to McNally tomorrow and your book is at the top of my list! Tonight we're off to the launch of Liz Philip's new one. Don Domanski is the special guest. That is if we can get across the bridge. What's with the traffic in Saskatoon!? It took forever to get to the hotel.
