Poetry month: good points

  • Canadian Poetries keeps growing.
  • Mumbling Jack is a new blog by John MacKenzie, a poet I've been following for quite some time. Lots of fine new poems on the blog. And yes, I bought the album. It's excellent.
  • That Shakespearean Rag is back in action. New address, new content, including thoughtful posts on poetry for poetry month. Hopefully that will be a regular feature year-round.
  • The Mayor’s Poetry City Challenge project, which came to be thanks to Bruce Rice, has 27 communities participating this year across Canada. The list of places and poets is on the site. I'm happy to see Creighton on the list. Kevin Imrie will be doing the Creighton reading.
