An excellent day of writing topped off

...with a call from the Saskatchewan Literature class at Luther College in Regina. They had some questions about my poem "A Contractor" from More Than Three Feet of Ice. Good questions. It was good to look back at a poem and book that I haven't looked at in a while, especially now that I'm well into something else and wondering where it's going. Thanks to Gerald Hill and his class. It was fun.

An excellent day of writing is such a gift! (So your work is being studied at the College? Lovely!)

A gift indeed! They don't happen every day, that's for sure. Not even close.

Yes, I love that there's a course dedicated to Sask lit. There are lots of writers in this province whose work I admire. It's great that their work is being looked at and discussed. As the young types are saying Woot!
