The Warhol Gang held against

...a northern sky. That was yesterday afternoon, after the book arrived.

The Warhol Gang by Peter Darbyshire, owner of CanCult, is at the top of my summer reading list largely because his first novel Please was a dandy.

I'm bound to have a ball.

I like dandies. (Or is that something separate?)

I like preordering books and getting them hot off the press like this. Yay for the internet!

Dandy as in wonderful, A. Well worth reading. If you mean bantam fowl, then, well, head to the petting zoo.

On a somewhat related note, I was on the phone with H when uploading these pics and just about fell out of my chair as they uploaded almost instantly. So I told H and he told me that he saw in the paper that our fine town is supposed to be getting faster high speed service sometime in June. Well it's here!

I meant dandies as in overdressed young men...but I'm glad to get recommendations for new-to-me writers of fiction.

Me too, A. And especially since I've read more fiction this spring than I have in the last five years combined. I'm a reading machine!

It is a great cover!
