On our way home yesterday

...we drove under an endless line of snow geese. I'm into line breaks, so here.

We were in Saskatoon on Wednesday for the Hagios Press fall launch. Three new books. Soul to Touch by Anne Campbell, Life in the Canopy by Bruce Rice and House Beneath by Susan Telfer. It was a fine launch. Bruce Rice, a poet I've been following for years, was the final reader. He concluded his reading by reciting a long, poignant poem from his book. Outstanding.
