I now give you My Word

...in the sidebar. It's my version of Twitter, minus the followers, the feeds and all that. It was inspired by Cancult Uncut over on Cancult, but it's really more like the daily links on Good Reports. My Word is an ever-changing, eclectic mix of current reading, links, passing thoughts and whatnot. Just a little list of stuff. So we'll see how it goes.

So now you can say that you actually tweet. (That's a tech joke, in case you're confused...)

Tweet schmeet. If I wanted to tweet I'd use Twitter. Twitter schmidter, I say.

Thanks, Evie! Hm. Going by my comment above, I think I'm turning into a cantankerous hermit. Time for a road trip or something.

Great idea! I've been a cantankerous wanna be hermit for some time...

Ha! I can see the entry in the Canadian Encyclopedia already: Lemay and Schmidt were the two most cantankerous members of the school of hermitry (SoH), which should not be confused with the school of quietude (SoQ). As Schmidt would say: Quiet schmiet!

The perfect entry...haha!

I should mention that I ran out of chocolate yesterday. That's never good.

Brenda, I stumbled upon your blog as I was looking for information about ermine. I found your post from December 6, 2006. I loved it. Would it be possible for me to use your images in an educational program I am working on?

Sorry for posting this question here. I couldn't find an email address.

Thanks for the comment, Sparverius. The photos belong to H. Here's his blog. I'll forward your request to him and he'll get back to you about it.

I keep meaning to do something about my contact info or lack thereof on these blogs. I'll address that shortly.
