You're bizarre. Wonderfully, wonderfually bizarre.

Ha! Thanks, G!

I must say I'm surprised at the lack of snowmen around this town. Doesn't anyone build snowmen anymore?

Oh, and I'm sorry to report that the ravens picked out its eyes. The nose and whiskers are gone to.

Gone to where?

Brenda Schmidt said...

Ok ok, so I'm missing an o. The raven must have taken that, too.

A lovely snow tiger.

Nice glasses.

Thanks, Tracy! I'm loving them. The funky legs don't show up in the video, but they do much to pull the eye away from the massive frown lines between my eyes, which, alas, do show up. I really must grow out my bangs a bit.

I think I have an idea who the poet is...

And I should show you my snow Ringolo Dale Chihuly...

And thanks for the tiger snow art, Brenda!

My teeny snowman pales in comparison.

Brilliant! I had front row access to that snowman. He almost got chonked on by a neighbouring retriever.

Brenda Schmidt said...

Dani! Your snowman is the coolest and totally inspiring. It has so much personality. I tried my damnedest to do as you did and bring my snow tiger to life, but it proved to be far tougher than I thought. The poor cat looks as if it was built by a bad taxidermist.

Thanks, Julie! I'm glad that retriever kept its gob off the little guy.

Ah, Brenda. Taxidermy isn't easy. Just ask my Uncle Guy.

The thing is, your snow tiger would hold its own with a retriever.

Thanks again! Stay warm out there!

Dani

Hm. I just might be a retriever-proof tiger builder. Lots of dogs run loose up here, both tame and wild, and none have bothered with it. Birds are another story.

You stay warm, too! And thank you! :)

Hi Brenda
Your brother sent me to your site. I thought it was really good but I found a mistake or what I think is a mistake...

Grouse remind me of the my childhood walks on the farm where they would burst out of the grassy edge of the stubble and take my breath away.

Yep, that's a boo boo! Thanks.

Hope to meet you soon! :)
