The first poem I read today

...was "Back in Five" by Anna Swanson from Grain Volume 33 No.4, Scorn.

I really liked the flaps.

For a second there, I thought your comment read "I really liked the chaps"...and that I was learning something new and...unexpected about you.

Heh.

In addition to being a real smarty pants, Anna's also a great poet. She's up at a fire tower right now, hopefully writing her at-the-lookout suite as we speak.

Ya, nice flaps. I like the design overall. The contents page looks great, as does the page before and after it. Pretty sharp.

I recognized Anna's name from Fall Back, so that's why I read her work first. I like her "Armpit Poem", also in this issue of Grain.
