Oh! Egg on face...and no new contract for that advertiser.
It's amazing how typos slip through. In my books, I still find them, even though the manuscripts went through me, my editor, proofreaders... The worst has to be one that slipped past my former boss. A book was published, all okay on the inside, but the author's name was misspelled on the spine. The author kept good humour about it all, but I know I would really hate that.
