The first poem I read today

...was "So-called Life" by Czeslaw Milosz from New and Collected Poems 1931-2001.

I read your post to say "the first so-called poem I read today".

Maybe it could be the title of a poem?

A more apt title for one of mine would be "The First So-called Poem I Wrote Today." The title of the book containing said poem will be So-called Poems, though I think General Recall might be better.

i have the collected poems from 1931 - 1987 so i can look up and read most of the poems you've picked to jumpstart your day. alas and alack this one must be post 1987.

I like the title So-called Poems. It has a certain ring to it.

Ya, a ring of truth. :)

Ken, I just checked and "So-called Life" is from This, a book published in 2000.
