The first poem I read today was Katherine Lawrence's "Learning to Read", which she wrote for Elizabethe Brewster. It's from Lying to Our Mothers, a book Katherine launched at a fine evening of poetry in Saskatoon last week.
Thanks, Leona. I'll be sure to buy a copy of Katherine's book when I hit Saskatoon tomorrow. I have her first, which I enjoyed.
