When ideas start to pile up

...in intolerable heaps, I will get a sudden urge to shovel them out. That urge struck this afternoon. At 5 p.m., after I went on and on about an idea that I've gone on and on about many times before, we hopped in the car and headed down the Hanson Lake Road. Thirteen kilometers later we were at Annabel Creek.

I was standing on the road when I took this photo. I found the first two subjects of my new blog directly below.

Congratulations on the new blog, Brenda. The photo's so serene; I want to walk out onto the jetty and sit there, dangling my legs and doing nothing.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty excited.

Pete, that's just what I did. The Boreal Chickadees and Ruby-crowned Kinglets were calling all around as were the frogs. By the way, up here a jetty is called a dock. Dock is such a grumpy sounding word compared to jetty.

Oh ya, I forgot to set the time zone when I set up the new blog, so the time of the initial posts is way out.
