Thanks to Your biggest fan (who actually did drive 60 miles to get the Star Phoenix and have coffee), I saw the review on my computer last night. I must say I'm pretty thrilled with it. I owe Your biggest fan at least a meal and a coffee next time we're down that way.
Yes, Lindsey, it is a good review. Yay! And it's exciting that it's in the same review as James Reaney's. And right across from it is a story on Alberto Manguel, who, fresh in from Paris, delivered a brilliant Caroline Heath Memorial Lecture at the Saskatchewan Writers Guild conference. All in all, it's pretty inspiring.
By the way, the Star Phoenix actually ran that Yann Martel story on the front page of the paper.

Now I have to drive another 60 miles to buy the Star ! Oh well, coffee time anyway !!
That's terrific, Brenda! Terrific about the review, AND and about having Yann Martel back in Saskatchewan.
I love Saskatoon, also. I lived there many years, and have many happy or otherwise significant memories from that time.
Thanks, Anita.

I'll work up an appetite !! When are you coming???
As a non-Saskatchewan resident who couldn't read the review, should I assume it's positive? Hope so.
(Oh, not sure if I mentioned that my blog has moved to http://www.lindseywiebe.com/blog.html. Assuming I mentioned it in the first place.)
