A northern monologue
Poets don't gossip. We reflect material and pass it on as food for thought?
Mostly I gossip.
I bet you're a warehouse of gossip...
I prefer "nexus".
It's true, we poets don't gossip. We just talk about a lot of nouns and verbs and the occasional adjective or adverb.Anyway, I reallyreallyreally like the idea of a poetry house, or a maison de poésie. It'd be fun to know you could just go there any night and there'd be poets and poetry happening.Mind you, I heard an interview with the outgoing and incoming artistic directors of the Vancouver International Writers (& Readers) Festival on Sounds Like Canada last week, saying poets argue more than any other genre of writers...or something like that. So, a house of poets, ya, well, I'm not sure what I think, either! The South is wet today and cool and the S word is in the forecast for next week. Brrrr!B-)
