The sky is heavy

...and ready to snow. I was in the studio a little while ago, having a cinnamon bun and tea when this magpie came along. I asked H to take its pic.

The pic marks a point in time. It will remind me of the plans we just made. Of the poem I just read. Of the bun. The sweet centre.

We had spring sun even in the midst of chest-high snow drifts but even so, I know what you mean...

And I look forward to your (diabolical) plan.

cinnamon bun, what kind of tea?

and here on the drear coast, dafs., witch hazel, winter aconite, no camelias yet (2 months late)...

I'll take a snow drift and a blue sky over the grey
anyday

lovely snap

H's idea. It's a wonderful plan, in keeping with my change of direction. I'm excited. I might post on some of it in May.

Speaking of grey, Sms, I had Earl Grey Vanilla, my afternoon tea. It's lovely having tea with the magpie. Well, there's usually more than one.
